Solemn Nights

Solemn Nights

A Poem by Leo
"

One misty night...

"
T'was a day of dread and apathy
The clouds hung low to comfort a pained earth
Gentle whispers of wind soothed the lonely
On this grey solemn night

God's vacancy from gaia, ever so obvious
To each his own in this white mist
The deaf, the mute, the souls, found bliss
During this patient solemn night

The styx that flowed down the visage
A mourner can cast no shadow
An epilogue of those that are star-crossed
Amidst this sole solemn night

To sever a rose from its root
A star that hides away in the dark
Your passing weighs heavy on my mind
Alone, this quiet solemn night

I really like the title of it is really ominous but i couldn't figure out what you're writing about.
