Love and Life

Love and Life

A Poem by Josh Clifton

You say you love me
You say you care

But when i need you
You are not there

You say im yours
You say you're mine

But i dont feel complete
I'm like a broken line

The words are great
And mean so much
But they are not enough
I need your touch

Lost in my own head
I sit here alone
Will i ever be happy
Will i find one to call my own.

Another great write from you.

This is sad too.
We have expectations from those we love but they leave us disappointed so many times.
How is one supposed to cope with that when there is already more to deal with?

Reads like an adult children's book, which is really amazing. Clear, concise and emotional you really get your point across.
