In the moment of thought

Sitting hear

With music playing in my ear

Eating alone again

Because I'm fighting with my best friend

Today the day is dark and gray

Even though yesterday was bright and gay

Though today isn't sad

Outside with the wind blowing I'm glad

I may have lost a friend

But tomorrow I get to see Him again

The love of my life

The man who swears he wants me as his wife

His body and lips taste like honey

Though he has an issue with spending money

He holds me tight in his arms

And he tries his hardest to keep me from harm

He sees the hidden beauty trapped inside of me

He is the best that there could be

When we're sleeping side by side and I listen to his breathing

I'm happy with him and it kills me every time he's leaving

It's a long distance love you see

He has to drive four long hours to visit me

Then we both have school so he has to go home

But our love is known

I don't know what compels me to write

The dark and dreary day is a beautiful site

Maybe that's why I write.
