"

"Tall, large, imposing Underneath, a gracious soul May you reach the sun"

"

---

Tall, large, imposing

Underneath, a gracious soul

May you reach the sun

---

Passion and passive

I am individual

I will be reborn

---

Sun against my face

Soft dappled light and crisp winds

Take another breath

---

Withering words fly

Targeted at the joyful

From one seeking truths

---

Lethargy runs through

A mind of cold and sharp will

Content? An idle word

---

From a zealous heart

Charm lies beneath the surface

Hidden by a fool

---

Teased and taunted

Words like daggers seek to hurt

He laughs at it all

---

A stream calmly flows

Through tough stone and hardy reeds

Underneath the bridge

---

Roots plant in the ground

No longer willing to move

They have made their home

---

Light is varied

Bright to dim, ample to poor

It shines all the same

---

Reach for far-our stars

Wonder and mystery soar

Questioning eyes open

-----

Energy thrums

Knowledge gained is now his own

Dark eyes fill with light

---

The stag wanders through

BANG - blood spills on scattered brush

Smoke begins to rise

---

Notes fall from hard hands

Strings, long misused and untuned

Continue to play
