Never Love Again

Never Love Again

A Poem by wordman
"

"

I built my life around you

now you`re gone

I don`t know what to do

I could never love again

my heart is broke

it will never mend

fifty years old all alone

now that you are gone

I have no reason to go on

I can never love again

but one day maybe I

can find a friend

Just someone to talk to

when I`m thinking of you

someone to help me make it through...

A very touching write, Ron. Sometimes all it does take is an ear:)

Welcome back:)
This is so very heartfelt. I'm glad you aren't going through it yourself, but at the same time I appreciate the honest empathy in your words. Nicely done.

ippreciate your visit
What a heartbreaking write. When someone who is only 50 passes away, it is even sadder than when someone who is in their 80's passes. Everyone needs a friend to confide in and spend time with....your poem shows how compassionate you are. Lydi**

That is such a sad thing money can't buy you love
A very sad poem. Hard to be alone at fifty years old. You are still young at fifty. I could feel the sadness and disappointment in the words. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

╰☆╮Friends can help SO much when you're going through stuff so I'm glad you included something like that in here. This made me feel the sorrow of the husband. Wonderful job!╰☆╮
