Paradise`s Loft

Paradise`s Loft

A Poem by wordman

I cry out to God

with no avail

afraid to die

afraid of hell

placed here

through no fault

of my own

a cake on the table

but told not to eat

when I did my life

would be complete

angels and demons

pulling from both sides

I`m rolling in an ocean

being pulled under by the tide

no place to run

no place to hide

all my emotions

building up inside

paradise a place of beauty

and a place of lust

brought to us from

the man of dust

eve,

now twice deceived

after that demonic encounter

now time to conceive

cain brought forth

from the pitts of hell

now here on earth

the demons do dwell

so when you read

all about isis

think of eve

in her crisis...

really like this poem, its expressed well,

i like these lines, it shows how we always have that battle within ourselves

'angels and demons
pulling from both sides'

love the title too, reminds me of a song called paradise lost by hollywood undead (maybe you can check it out although i warn you, its rock xD )
