A Poem for Jackie

A Poem for Jackie

A Poem by wordman
"

"

There's a place in heaven

only children can go

Gods most beautiful garden

where innocent love will always flow

And the lord has a special garden

in that place ,and he needed a

special rose to fill that space

he came here on earth to find that rose,

and it was your Jackie that he chose

and momma god loves you too

but this you already knew ,and

it was your special flower that he chose

but tonight she sleeps with angels

by her side, and even though your,

heart is broken he sends his love

and it comes unspoken

but one day your season

will come to an end

and it will be your Jackie

that will lead you in ...

( but one day your season will come to an end and it will be your Jackie that will lead you in ... ) What a beautiful and comforting thought that is! Even if the theology is not correct, a mother who has a child waiting for her in heaven only feels joy at this thought! I love this one. ~Sharon

thank you sharon,
Losing someone is always difficult, but the loss of a child - I can't even imagine. Your words are soft and heartfelt Ron. Beautiful writing my friend.

sorry, thank you for the visit cass
The emotions clear and concise with meaning
Always a rough situation that lingers in the back of one's mind daily.
But, to know that one day...her image will be there.
For now, with good company in a safe place.

Welcome always!
This is really a good poem, but I feel kind of a sense of sadness in it...
I hope everything is good for your wordman.
Really good poem, I like it, it somehow makes me calm myself down a little when I read it again.

I appreciate your visit,thanks
This is so penetrating to the depths of the soul,I use to mow grass at a cemetery and it broke my heart to see all the babies laid to rest and digging a plot for them to be buried in was equally bothersome you display great sentiment for the loss of a child and empathy for the mother Praise God
