A Clock On the Wall

A Clock On the Wall

A Poem by Ben
"

the hyphens are pauses meant to represent the ticking of a clock.

"
My life is in a
con - stant motion.
Draws - in circles, a
color - less notion. With
wings - I can fly, but
I - tend to run, Till
time - is of essence; Then
I'll - be done.
Ret - rospective,
yet - I'm free.
Ac - tive eyes, that
still - can't see. A
gain - of insight; a
glimpse - of time.
Sour taste comes from
rot bitten limes. I'll
break - away, like
leaves - in the Fall. If
not - I'll remain, a
clock - on the wall.
