Block Out the Moon

Block Out the Moon

A Poem by Ben

I said,
I can do it on my own
I said,
Don't throw a dog a bone
I said,
I'm sorry too many times
I said,
I'm gonna change, but whined
I said,
I'm the one that's gonna care
I said,
So many lies that lead me nowhere,
I said.
I'll close the blinds and block out the moon.
The hinge was broken.
He said,
Too soon.
