Stormy Dreams

We’ve swam down swelling streams

through ardor’s stormy dreams.

Sheer wonderment, it seems,

~

With two hearts in their prime

tho’ beating perfect time …

it's been an uphill climb.

~

Still, with such wondrous stuff,

although it’s been quite tough

seems we can't get enough.

~

It's down to you and me …

hearts floating out to sea

just dying to be free.

~

Sing freedom’s songs inside,

sweet harmonies provide

ecstatic tears’ riptide.

~

Embraced by waves’ sheer might

love raised two hearts in flight,

and we soared high all night.

~

Like sun-warmed roses’ glow,

such yearnings we all know;

joy’s rains forever flow.
