Smile

Smile

A Poem by the writer of woe
"

Just some thoughts of my beloved.

"
Is it not wrong to see
That which cannot be?
A smile upon the face
Is nothing but of love a trace
Lying empty as cold stone
And not a king set upon his throne.
But it was a bird to soar high
Like a truth in place of life
There is nothing that is more worthwhile
Than upon her face, lying a smile.

A smile make folks thinks you are up to something and having some fun. A good place to be. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Smiles are day makers they will lift spirits to unseen heights (though personally I would of used seeing instead of lying)

Once again, I find myself thinking that you could have more freedom without the rhyme scheme. I want to know what exactly is inside your head. Then again, I do enjoy the stylistic approach and that sort of sentiment does bide itself welcome in this sort of work.

My thing with the rhyme scheme is basically to make the work more beautiful and flowing rather than .. read more
