Drowning in Air

Drowning in Air

A Poem by wtcarkeek09

Split your whisper into half a breath,

Then strain the decibels to mimic death,

Adjust some keys and mono the sound,

Left with your gaze is a good way to drown.

Submerged above, in polluted air,

Inhaling silence in a fragment stare,

A numbing effect provoking tranquility,

Spaced beyond our common reality.

Tenderly peace, simulating flight,

Twitched to life, ending sight.
