Together Once Again

Together Once Again

A Poem by caitlin

You left me
Out here in this field
Among the browning blades of grass,
Out here in the rain,
And when you left
You took with you
The strands of leafy green hair
That once hung from the weeping willow tree.
You left me
Out here in this field,
Out here in this mournful rain,
And now here I stand
Calling out to you
My once so lively love,
Begging you to reach down your hands
From the Heavens so high above,
Reach down and pull me up
To where you are
So we maybe together
Once again.
