Stolen Moments

Scribbles.

I find myself in a race against time. 

My hands are outstretched

of their own accord

as if to overcome 

the invisible barriers of distance.

But I'll enjoy the stolen moments

while I soak in the heat 

emitting from your body... 

Until I wake up

and succumb to this thing 

called life...

Your poetry always reminds me of the ocean... those waves of the surface... the life thriving just beneath... and the dark depths that reach down to the deepest spaces... Here in these lines is such a vast, intimate love... and life... being washed up on the sands... aching for more time. 🌟✨🌟
