Coward

Coward

A Poem by Zach Knox

You're all cowards
swallow
that pain
like a pill
it's your weakness,
your burdens
that make you ill.

Let go of the past
Or be used in the present
Open up or
be unwrapped like
a Christmas present
Because of this fear
the time passes and you just
keep locking yourself in your
cage
Just rip out that burnt page
that keeps feeding your
rage.

About
Poetry is my way to cope with the world. I used to write in high school a lot as I was struggling with eating disorder and other mental problems plaguing me. I don't know if it was out of exhaustion.. more..
