If the ocean was a person, than you could give this poem to it. You can still give this poem to the ocean by writing it onto something fish would eat and then put it into the ocean. JK!

We are confronted with serious problems concerning water.
It is really difficult to solve the drought situation in certain areas of USA while there are flood situations in many countries including Bangladesh.
However,pure and edible water is always scarce everywhere.
The problem of water need to be managed with care.

Yes, water is in scarce supply throughout the world.

I can't help but be reminded of my time in the Navy. We made fresh water daily. Enough to supply the ship and the 5,000 plus men on board, and all the boilers (8) to create power and to launch jets from the steam catapults. Lots of water used, made, daily.

At now she sits beside a pier, without power, waiting to be scrapped for her metal. Many ships, many evaporators and distillery plants just waiting to be used throughout the world. Perhaps one day they could be recycled for more good use, not just for war.
