In life the heart loves.

In life the heart loves.

A Poem by Rochelle
"

While I took the time to write this I wondered to my self, what if the heart couldn't love what would life be like then?

"
What can be full of hate and love so deep,
What can be broken but still stay in one peace,
Never seen but has countless descriptions,
If taken it would end something to soon,

Something that can be given by word,
But never taken by force,
A small thing but shows more feeling than a smile,
What is litter than air but weighs more than gold,

A simple word,
Nothing to heard to say,
A word you don't use everyday,
Not to difficult for the body to show,
It's the heart that beats more than you know,

What can be full of hate but love so deep,
The heart,
What can be broken but still stay in one peace,
The heart,
Never seen but has countless descriptions,
Love,

If taken it would end something to soon,
Life,
Something that can be given by word,
but never taken by force,
Love,

A small thing but shows more feeling than a smile,
By just one beat the heart,
What is litter than are but weighs more than gold,
Life,

Simple things,
Nothing to difficult to say,
Three words that are used in many ways,
In life the heart must love,
That is all I can say

Belle You have pondered something as mysterious as the Loch ness creature. The initial half of the piece stanza is intriguing and captivating. It's beautifully and poignantly express in the riddle like style and fashion. The heart is truly a mysterious organ. It is also the center of a person's inner most self. The dynamo of its true essence. Though the eyes they say is the windows to someone's soul whilst the heart speak much of a person's true self and inner most character. And then the author graciously revealed the answer to her own pondering and question. Such a mysterious piece of a human body both capable of hate and love and from it also comes the many issues of life...

I truly admire these two lines you wove " What is lighter than air but weigh more than gold, Life "
" What can be full of hate but love so deep, The heart, What can be broken but still stay in one peace, The heart, Never seen but has countless descriptions, Love..."

In my own assessment this is a brilliant piece. The word "litter" and " are " instead of air may just be a typo. I will give this piece a 100 percent rating and goes to my favorite collection of best poem. Thanks for sharing this on this site.

Life without love is an abysmal place and fraught with much hatred and evil schemes. When we value love, we value the tru Spirit within us all. An excellent one...:)...........

The power of words. Under-estimated they are. We need words of love and concern.
"Simple things,
Nothing to difficult to say,
Three words that are used in many ways,
In life the heart must love,
That is all I can say"
The simple words of concern. If someone is looking bad. Ask, are you alright? Can I help? Many three lines sentences with great weight. I enjoyed the poem. You open the door to thoughts and possibilities. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
