when daytime hits

when daytime hits

A Poem by ZmH

night falls to dark grey

perfect time to run away

the pain stings like a whip

youve lost your grip

tears flow slowly, but surely

it starts so early

you recognize the wrong, ignore the right

only time it stops is when daytime turns to night

your asleep in your bed

thoughts nearly dead

but like guilt they all come back again

its the same from you to your friend

pressure builds

frustration burns

you hope to go away

even for just a day

you hope for clear thoughts

answers from right to wrong

by the time daytime hits, you are gone

This is a very touching poem, so sad aswell. The last line when he left was a well written line, you built up the aravial of that line through out the rest of the poem. Well done :D
