Just something my friend told me to come up with.

He promised me he would stay 

but he lied 

He said he'd remember me

but I guess he forgot

 

I called him

It said the line had been disconected

I guess the line worksfor him;

He said he'd love me

I guess that love really does die out

He said hug me

I guess a kiss was too much

 

I wrote to him

It came back, I guess he moved

I guess the line works for him;

Out of sight, out of mind

 

He said he wouldn't break my heart

but he lied

He broke it bit by bit,
Painfully, achingly
