A short two- stanza poem about desperately wanting to stop caring about someone

You aren't real, so you never existed.

I will never have your heart, so give me all the rest.

For my best friend. I really can't wait to surprise her with it.

A more traditional poem than my last. The quote at the beginning and end are from an old Evanescence song called "October"

I felt like playing around a bit with this.
