A Noble Message

Destruction has become popular. Terror and War are more prevalent. This poem reflects the destructive nature of the world.

Often we find two people fight,

We call them stupid and push them aside.

But isn't it a miserable sight,

To watch two huge armies fight.

When you kill one, you are called a murderer

When you kill many, you are called a conqueror.

For the former you get chased,

And for the latter you get praised.

Wars and conflicts are on the rise,

And the world is paying the price.

Signs of peace are decreasing day by day,

Life on earth has become  more desolate and gray.

War will cease when people will refuse to fight,

When they realize that the future is not bright.

They should know the whole circumstance,

Can be changed in advance.

Together let's make the people aware,

That it is a common world we share.

Each one of us - every boy or girl,

Let's come forward and give it a whirl.

It is sad when war is a norm. I was raised with Vietnam in the news daily. My children have the Bush and Obama war. I wonder do my children realize war isn't a good norm? No weakness in the outstanding poem. Open the door to a long and good conversation.

it's really insightful. I'm not sure about war stopping simply because people refuse to fight, unless every single person refuses; you have evil tyrants who would kill simply because they like to kill, even if their adversaries surrendered. But overall, i think it was a great poem.
