Living Free

Living Free

A Poem by Ahmad Cox

Living Free

Living Free
Can be as easy
As breathing
Taking in
Each life
Giving
Breathe
Be awake
Experience
Each moment
Breathe
Take the time
To truly
Experience
The joy
Of living
The joy
Of life
Stop
Breathe
Listen
To that
Voice
Inside
Breathe in
Breathe out
Don't forget
To take the
Time to truly
Breathe
Breathing in
Everything good
That is sustaining
That is of life
And letting out
All of the pain
The hurt
Everything
That keeps
You from
Living free

Nicely said- go to the lines of taking in each life giving breathe- you might think about changing the word to breath. the rest of the "breathes" work well in this poem. very very fine message.

Very nice write. It's like a emotion release of stress and everything else inside a person. Such a good poem for someone to read to realize things and relax. Enjoyed reading this.

Thank you. I often write poetry about realizations that I have had to come to myself.
That was like a meditation! So true. We have to slow down and relish every moment. Thanks again...I always come away from your work feeling lighter. :)
