My Immortal Love

My Immortal Love

A Poem by *~*Butterfly Kisses*~*
"

Vampire Romance

"

Cast me under your spell,

My heart I will surrender.

Whispering sweet nothings

Between these sheets, we lay.

Let us make the angels jealous

With rage of our eternal love.
As your cold dark lips press against me

My heart racing out of control.

Deadly lustful desires,

I cannot escape your embrace.

It would be a lie, if I told you

I never longed for such dark romance.

I see the moonlight in your eyes,

As we make our love anew.

Glistening fangs entering my skin

Take me now, I'm forever yours.

My dearest immortal love,

My rose with heavenly thorns.

Your mystery and beauty leaves me mesmerized

Hypnotized, craving more of you.

This poem is a stroke of genius. Again, I am quite amazed at how you manage to maintain such grace in your lines even when you speak of something as raw as the romance of vampires. Oh the poem has darkness alright, and it has just the right shade of darkness. It neither loses out on the romance by getting too dark, nor does it lose the darkness (which is essential, since vampires are involved), by letting the romance spiral out of control. A beautifully controlled and deftly passionate write. Again, several gems here..."Let us make the angels jealous", "I cannot escape your embrace","My rose with heavenly thorns" amongst others....I am impressed! Delightful poem!

A beautiful and gentle poem of love. I like the easy and kind words of love and desire. A wise person goes slow and easy to enjoy every second of the emotion of love.
"Let us make the angels jealous
With rage of our eternal love."
Thank you for the outstanding poem.

A play between two lovers whose minds are like kittens, yet unable to express want or a sense of having..... Who will substitute for it a bite, like a prey who loves the predator because it feels the joy of total giving of itself..... like the fruit on the tree that lives only to be consumed. As you know the big 'G' banished such a practice in Eden. A mature love would give of itself without dying. A poem that illustrates all these. Nice write!
