In My Church

relgious poetry, with my own little twist of reality.

There are no words,

No stories or sermons

Being told in the book

Of Him and His teachings.

 

Silent whispers and sounds

Of gentleness and serene life

Created by a higher power

Unknown to the human world.

 

Velvet breezes caress my senses

Overwhelming me with peace

As the leaves and forgotten spirits

Sway to their own symphonies in the winds.

 

In the power driven ocean waves

As the move against the gravity

Of the pearlish moon above

Beneath the solace of a diamond sky.

 

No matter the season, whereever

Or even the time of day

The creation of life and beauty

Shows ever more clearer.

 

In my church, He is everywhere

Letting imagination fill my empty skies

And replace all the negative feelings

In my heart with beauty and wonder.

 

Muses take control

Embracing my soul and I learn

I am what was intended

I am what was meant to be created.

 

There are no stories or sermons

To be told, to be whispered...

Just seeing and believing

The creations of a higher power

 

 

...beyond humanity's comprehension
