Ride

Ride

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Lana Del Rey song and energy. Make me wish to break free and celebrate being alive.

"

                              Ride

True freedom my friend is dancing with the wind. Singing song till the morning light.
Knowing open highways and not being controlled by money and possessions.

I want the sea, the mountains and to taste freedom.
I have lost my way. Yesterday I put my feet than body into Lake Huron.
I realized I forgot who I was.

Today I'm locked-up and caged. I accepted the rules of profiteers and cold hearten people.
I must learn for the sake of my children. Can't laid dead for liars and naysayers.

Ride to better places an thoughts my friend, to the open and free roads. Open locked door and swim in the deep sea and stand with grandchildren on cliffs watching the Hawks and eagles fly.

We are prisoners by poor decision.

Just ride with unknown destination. Find secret and quiet places. Touch the coldness of the water.
Embrace the trees and thank the Gods of life. For new day and chance.

Find the free people. People who have time to dance, laugh and taste the sweetness of life.
We are many.

Lana Del Rey whispered to me in song. Just ride. Leave the bad days behind.
Walls of prisons can be took down if we don't give in to false hope and dreams.

The only limit we have are the one's we had create.

Dance, sing and laugh. Take the kids to the lakes, sea and forest. Show them from the peak of a mountain.
The world is large and free.  Live! don't just work and wait for death.

Breathtakingly beautiful! I feel the currents of freedom surface in this poem. The poem celebrates life, hope and positivity. You captured the scenes of nature beautifully.

Ahh, what it feels to leave everything and escape!!! I rather think "escape"can be the poem's title too. My favourite lines would be:
"I have lost my way. Yesterday I put my feet than body into Lake Huron.
I realized I forgot who I was."

Nice poem Coyote. A few days ago as I lay I heard the sound of the crow and the sound was like something calling me back to a life once lived in solitude and freedom. Being entangled with so much business can draw us from the things that set us free and bring us life and joy. I hope to meet you on the journey my brother.

Oh yes! We all need to escape from time to time...my escape is the ocean.. a walk on the beach...or reading a poem that leaves me with a smile - such as this one.
Beautiful poetry and lovely thoughts my friend.

Thank you. I need a long vacation with no destination.
I love the message of your poem! What an inspiration. I think so often we have our nose to the ground, worried about what we have to get done, that we forget to take time to raise our heads and look to the sky! Thank you for sharing this beautiful poem!

Thank you Sharon Kim. We miss freedom when we don't have it.
Your Song and Dance brings me tears of Joy.
today I will go to the river where the song of water celebrate with the rocks.
I will take your song with me and harmonize with you.

Thank you Brave Soldier for with standing the storms of life and leaving no comrades behind.
The hardest bravest thing we can do in this life is to keep our thoughts and Spirit risen from this plane.
Your song and dance lead the way.......

Most BEautiful words and thoughts you have created...

Hmmm ... sounds so fun, I'm glad you went and visited it again.
What a respectable moment to witness this one, the descriptions at the beggining set the mood becuase they came to me with a sense of liberation, openness , go ahead embrace sort of thing and then quite the opposite feeling of locked up in a cage and the acknoledgment of poor decisions made, not an easy moment. But then as soon as recognition had ended you take back the quest as if shaking the dust off and you re -take the yearning fire.

Lovely stuff

Thankyou
