More than a friend, not quite an aunt

Something higher

 

I watched you and looked up to you

to see what I should do

a quiet one to watch for me

though I never really told you

 

Remember when our fiddles played

In sweet harmony

And each note that we shared

A treasured time for me

I never will forget

You and I with bows and strings

One simple melodious moment

 

I will miss your quiet encouragement

your smile, your strenghth from above
