First Encounters With Lust

The age-old ballet of fatal attraction between the guiltless lamb and the incubus ~~

 I never do this, I really don't,

I don't have much faith in romantics

For all my ridiculous antics

The other girls think this is all overblown;

 

They don't understand this sensation,

How I pine when you walk in the room

How my virgin heart knows that so soon...

I'll surrender to longing elation

 

You're something freshly disturbing

You could give me more than I could take

I could be your mistake...

The concept is darkly alluring

 

I am so willing and this is so new

There's nothing that I would like more

Than to see you outside of my door

But I'd be afraid to take you

 

I think about you in the night

You're an imprint on my eyelids

Your fingers trailing on my skin...

Your teasing eyes sparkling bright...

 

You are not mine, but I'm fully yours

The common sense I lack,

To want someone who'd love me back

Your audacity I live for

 

This is wrong, it's not allowed

And it's not fair to you,

To have you know the truth

To hear me cry out loud

 

You should be allowed to love her

I can take this and be strong

I will sing you your love song

While my heart hums its funeral dirge
