A Natural Heartbreak

A Natural Heartbreak

A Poem by KeeD

Creator, you make the mountains sway
the rivers pass through their gates
Silhouettes on the water fade away
jealousy sealed their fate

The hills were veiled in silence
mourning the clouds, their hearts fail to beat
Then the rain washed away the violence
as thunder proclaimed one more defeat

The wind believes in make belief
and the suns warmth makes the blood run dry
The fallen leave a trail of grief
driving dreams of missed goodbyes

The world crumbled into chaos
from the ashes arose a familiar sight
The moon cried a hue of pathos
Broken to the human plight

In all the events surrounding life
The Earth continues to endure such crime
Even with human strife
Creator, does a natural heartbreak heal over time?

cheers, i'll hit your page up sometime soon and read your work. Thanks for the review
Can we repair the damage we have caused? What have we done, is there hope? Very powerful! The chaos you describe is so real and so true. "The Earth continues", I pray we can help it heal.

Very well written. Keep writing!

Well Keegan,I'd say our two pieces of verse are highly compatable.Your hearty blow by blow of our possible demise is like a preamble to my finale. You are half a world away but definitely on the same page.Kudos dude,I'm suffering at your side.

Hi I'm Keegan, most of you talented people on here know me as Kee. I'm 28 and work as a journalist. I write to release bottled feelings, so although it might not be very good, it is me. Thank you for .. more..
