A Poem by Karina Longo

Out of my comfort zone,

Disintegrating

A solar dream, near their origami-made,

Ice thin standards

Out of breath, sinking in fresh air -

Freedom out of my cage,

It makes me feel like I am living

Someone else’s perfect dream

Kill her again, and again

So she will not feel like

Placing herself six feet under

Kill her again, and again

So she will fit in

This wonderful, sanitized disaster

Her black hair -

Already drowned

In her own

Insane wonders

Thank you so much!
Three words came to my mind when I read this. Eccentric, creative and original. This is a fresh read for me. Possibly because it's How I write, let's just say similar style, haha, or maybe not. Either way I really like this piece. Good job.

very intriguing, like a late night beneath a yellow hue you tell us your world and your anger and fever and need for freedom.
