A rather personal write for me. Its simple bit i like it

why?
you were normal
I was normal
We were normal
I was wrong
you lied
You used
You abused
Me
My body
My trust
My life
Ruined childhood
Ruined future
Ruined life
Why?
I always wonder why?
I question myself
Everything I do
Every person
Is now a suspicion
I blame you
But I blame me
I should have been stronger
I should have found my voice
But I know I'm wrong
Your to blame not me
It's just so hard to see
It was torture then
It's torture now
Why?

A rather personal "bite" for anyone to whom such has happened. Real questions and yet a real answer would "break" many even more than they are at the moment.

Most adults won't speak out over most actions - even when they barely know the offender - and it is more than merely fear of further injury. We twist the doing til it's somehow ours and OUR shame and guilt stays locked inside to flavor our existence.

Very nicely written and well expressed. I love the style each verse is short yet packs a punch. There is a harness in the words, you can feel the edge, a deep pain and anger rising within the words. Beautiful.

I find quiet depressing so many poems about abusing child is here. There must be something really wrong with us. Myself like a child i experienced with psychological and physical abuse. I am sorry for life experience . I hope and wish one day all your wounds will heal. I like minimalistic form each word explore our own feelings and reflection. This poetry is strong enough cause speak about very important issues .
