Dried Up

Dried Up

A Poem by Paza

Desire, once overwhelming,
Retracted most abruptly.
Intimacy, once effortless,
Exiled most assuredly.
Driven into the depths of my lonely soul

Understanding what is no longer understood
Promising to love you until the end, anyway

Fantastic. Cannot believe how good this is. Great, very succinct read. A lot packed into a few words.

Thanks,

you defiantly accomplished what you were aiming for in this piece. and the ending lets the reader imagine if you are going to love her, regardless of your feelings being lost, or will you love her even though her emotions have become a desert. good piece.
