I know that with your words of "ungraspable freedom of souls" and "accept and bless", not to also mention eternal love, are meant to be uplifting spiritually, but even more for me what comes through as I listen is deeply help pain and loss... this poem and you reading it must have been difficult for you I think Pryde..

perhaps I am wrong, but there is a tension between this feeling of loss and the spirit of uplift you speak in both word and music... a fusion that I believe is not as yet been resolved nor will it be in some ways as loss is felt far after the initial event... this is a different side of you Pryde, a side showing more your humanity and not just your philosophy... I know this is not inseparable, we are what we believe for the most part, but we also feel and are in constant change and "transformation" (using your word) as we face and interact with the world around us....

I guess what I am trying to express is that this poem is one of the best I have read and listened to Pryde, thank you for sharing these feelings with us...

Thank you, Curt. I am honoured. I found my way to poetry through a broken heart and quickly discovered its healing powers. I did recently go through a break up and of course ... being human and all ... I felt pain over it but knowing philosophicallyspiritually what I know allowed me to much quicker than before reveal the pain for what it is truly indicative of ... my ability to love and deeply so. It is a shift from blame and regret ... to celebrating the grief for its contribution to creation and the beauty of feeling. What ... beautiful dreams become. I read your poetry ... so I know you know:):):)

I am sorry that you are/were hurt Pryde.. and I do know you do your best to heal the negativity with positive outlook and seeing things from different perspectives, a spirituality of sorts... I also know that the pain and grief of a broken heart takes time to heal and feel whole again... and you should know that I think about you in this and hope that you are okay even more than you say you are at this moment...

on a lighter note, when I saw the title to this poem I thought I would be reading a poem about your son... though perhaps that would have been called "Chocolate Milk Teeth"... I know I know I am a very silly man .... ;0)
