Pathways

A Poem by StayAnchored
"

Hey y'all!! Thanks for reading! I wrote this one today and thought it was an okay poem... So I decided to share it! :D

"

She cried in the corner she went to each day.

She cowered there and quietly prayed.

She was terrified and petrified.

She was bullied and teased; everyone treated her ever so mean.

She failed to take her own life and realized you were always by her side.

She grew up and threw up but you were still with her.

She was scolded and molded.

  She fell in love.

He broke her heart.

She finally needed a brand new start.

  She ran to you.

You took her in.

You wiped away all of her sin.

Everywhere around her was a big din but she belonged to You.

She told everyone she knew.

You saved her and changed her.

She learned her lesson and made a confession.

She shined her light, big and bright and lived all her days for you.

I still think the ending needs work but it'll come to me eventually. :)
