Prayers

I am still working on it, as I am in many of my poems.

I’ve given second chances.

I’ve take second glances.

I’ve prayed persistently and attended consistently

 but I still feel empty.

 I still feel gone.

 Everything around me all feels wrong.

My faith is shaking.

My fears are awaking

 But You are a God who loves.

You are a God who cares

You are a God who listens to my many, many prayers.

You saved me and remade me.

You brought me to you.

Your love is greater than anything that I ever knew.

christianity isn't about going to church or saying prayers, its about saying i am a sinner, take me fro who i am make me new and place a new me inside of me, let your glory shine through i trust you save me, its a wonderous thing you just have to trust him with your entire being :)

I agree with all of that except prayers. I feel prayers are an important part of your relationship with god. praying is talking to god and socializing with him, having a relationship(: Its kind of like when you have a bestfriend... you always talk to them right? You dont usually say in your heart "I love my friend, she is great." and then not talk to them. Talking to them is the relationship. But I totally agree with you about the church part. You dont have to go to church to be a christian

i wasn't saying that they weren't, i was simply saying its not 100% about saying prayers there is more to god than that, and there is more to the relationship than that.

I love how your writing really speaks to the reader and shows the true and glorious god who is there and who forgives you! I love it. I can really relate to it.
