The Adventure of the Cheeto

The Adventure of the Cheeto

A Story by StayAnchored
"

I had to write this a while back for a science thingy... I don't really expect anyone to read it.

"

The girl walked up to the snack machine and put her money into it

and pressed E4 to get a bag of cheetos, not aware of the fact that a

cheeto would be going on an adventure inside of her. The girl

opened the bag of cheetos anxiously awaiting the wonderful taste of

her favorite snack. She plopped one into her mouth with a big smile

gleaming across her face as she savored the taste of her favorite

snack. The first step of the cheeto’s adventure has begun and if

cheetos could squeal he would have because he was extremely

excited to start his adventure. The first step of the digestion for the

cheeto is the girl’s saliva as it starts the digestion process by

breaking down the food and turning the little cheeto into sugar for

the girl’s body to use as energy before she even begins to chew the

cheeto. She crunches the little cheeto with her teeth so it is in tiny

pieces preparing it for the adventure it shall have going through her

digestive system. The cheetos got extremely scared because it got

dark as he went down the esophagus. The peristalsis forces him

down the esophagus by contracting little waves. He knew the next

stop would be the stomach and he was anxious to arrive, for a

cheeto he was very adventurous. He arrived at his next destination,

the stomach. He got tossed around along with all his little cheeto

friends. He got mixed with the gastric juices that rained down from

the top of the stomach which made him extremely tiny because it

breaks up the particles of food into little pieces. The cheeto had

been processed into a thick goopy liquid called chime. He later found

himself having a blast by getting swished around a tunnel of the

small intestine like he was going on a large water slide, though

instead of it being filled with water it was filled with little pieces of

food and bile from the Liver. The bile is used to break down the little

cheeto and his friends by taking the little cheeto’s fats and

separating it from the rest of the cheeto which made him quite sad

because he knew he was already half way through his adventure.

The bile is stored in the girl’s gall bladder before it is needed to

break down the fats from the cheetos. He was about to reach his

next destination, the liver, which would be an amazing experience

for all cheetos to endure. The liver separates the harmful ingredients

from the cheetos and sends what is left of them to the large

intestine to be sent out of the body as it was now considered

“waste”. The liver also cleans the blood throughout the little girl’s

body so that her digestive system works even better. The next stop

for what was left of the cheeto was the large intestine which is used

to remove water from the little cheetos. The little cheeto was know

at the colon which is used to any water and salt left behind from the

girl’s large intestine and other organs. The cheeto had a hunch that

he was in the rectum about to be excreted from the body. He waited

what felt like years to leave the girl’s body through her anus. The

sphincter muscle pushed the “waste” out of the girl’s body and it

exited through the anus. The little cheeto was filled with sorrow and

fear to watch what was left of him and his little friends get flushed

down the toilet. Later that day he floated through long tunnels of

pipes after being flushed down the toilet. He knew the purpose of

the cheeto was to satisfy the hunger of the human race and to bring

delight to their faces while they enjoyed the cheetos crunch and

cheesy goodness and knowing this made him more at ease when he

reached the waste treatment plant along with all his little friends. He

has changed the world of cheetos as we know it by giving them a

pep talk by telling them to “live in the moment” and enjoy their

adventure going through a humans digestive tract.
