Sober

Sober

A Chapter by Shy Joe
"

My experience with addiction.

"
Here you go cleaning up
This life sure is a dump

Getting no where this twenty plus ten
God you can't believe this already has been

The first day your skin is crawling
The second day that bottle is calling

Laying down shaking and crying
Pretty sure this is it, your dying

The mind wont stop, no hibernation
Beginning the end of this aberration

The sweats are gone, you can eat again
Drinking beverage of tea, alcohol abstain

The battle was bad, the war is not fun
Addiction is there, struggle never done
