Pandemonium

Pandemonium

A Poem by Lydia

Pandemonium, Delirium

A fear in them

That cannot be expelled

Confusions, Illusions

All of the conclusions

Have all certainly failed

Agitation, Deception

All have no corrections

Civilization has derailed

Turbulence, Fraudulence

What a coincidence

They all have been jailed

Instability, Duplicity

They lack all lucidity

Their mental state has been unveiled

Anxiety, Insanity

A lot of it is pure vanity

They thought they had prevailed

Distress, Unreasonableness

We all are defenseless

All things fair have been curtailed.

This has a rhythm that is much like a riddle or V for Vendetta. Neat.

The rhyming scheme is incredibly unique. An overall amazing poem. Everything you write is lovely! Well done.

I actually have never read Delirium, but I've heard a lot about it. This poem isn't inspired by anything really, but I really would like to read that book. I actually just realized that I used the words Delirium, and Pandemonium. I believe the second book is called Pandemonium. Haha

it's not just the clever way you put this together that makes this so provocative, it is the fact that you have punched the world in the kisser with absolute and definitive clarity, exposing the downfall and deceleration of modern society,
this is poignant and brilliant!

Classy rhyme scheme, I like it. The way it rolls off my tongue while I read it is really cool. Good job.

the rhyming is wonderful… makes it easy to read, and it has great flow. I love the imagery, and the line, "We all are defenseless." How true. Great work.

Yes, this is a very enjoyable poem to be sure. There is a constants flow which is hard to accomplish sometimes. I sometimes feel this way, thanks for the read.
