All along I danced

All along I danced

A Poem by willweb
"

Inspired by reading Sylvia Plath today

"

All along I danced

while orchids fell sad

between spaces in cultured dreams,

lined parallel in time with my heartbeat

Drowsy became the sky

when moon shadow eyelids descended,

slowly returning the light

to the sealed envelope of horizons blushing

Acidic melodies sung

in star traced gaps

breathe desolate harmonies,

and the wind wails lonely in an arched flow

Meadowlarks hide, shamed by feathered tendencies,

muffling sighed echoes of love

fading well beyond each broken stone, while

all along I danced

Thank you Einstein Noodle. I have been a fan for a long time. I hope I did her proud.
Beautiful. What a startling discovery in imagined words, ideas and a poet's soul.

Thank you so very much Alfred for your nice comments.
I love the melancholy feel to your words

Wonderful imagery... I'm sure Sylvia Plath would be proud that she inspired such an amazing poem from you.

This is well worded, and has really good imagery, but today, the other two resonate a little more for me.
