Rain and Love

An experience that I always wanted to experience. Standing in the rain finding love and sealing it with a kiss as the wet droplets falls on us making that moment even more sweet than before.

It's pouring and I'm standing here soaking

Looking,searching,seeking for my love

As the rain droplets fall upon my head

An my vision is blury from the curtains of rain

I could barely see her but I knew it was her

By the shape outline by the rain

As she drew closer my heart did skip a beat

I could hardly control my feelings

For I thought I had lost her

I saw her sparkling eyes

Her hair wet and tangled but in a way still intact

As I grab her pulling her close, nose to nose, lips to lips

Our hands entwine with each other, and I could hear her breathing, as the water beats against us

I slowly rub my face against her face feeling the wetness and smoothness of her skin

"I thought I lost you" I said "You can never lose me" she says

"For as long our hearts love each other we shall always find each other.

Just listen to your heart my love" she says

I look at her and she smiles

Not even a full moon can be more beautiful than her sumptuous smile

Everytime she just make's me melt away not worrying about a thing

As long as she was next to me I was okay

The rain kept pouring and in that moment I could tell that this was a night to remember

We both were staring at each other eyes smiling enjoying the coolness that the rain was bringing

Hugging her, picking her up, twirling her around as the water splashed underneath us

Rain&Love, Rain&Love, the sweet sensation to just Rain&Love

hi Alex, very pleasant reading indeed, reminds me of a very old song, 'walking in the rain with the one i love' can't remember if that's the title but its a line from it, this poem has that feel to it and its a sentiment i share with you, who knows why getting soaked is so fantastic cos your with your girl but it is and your work expresses this very clearly and beautifully, great writing, thank you :)

I love walking in the rain along as its not a thunder storm Its a great feeling to walk with your loved on in the rains spring summer or fall. I'll support them all.

This is very pleasant writing. If only to be so desired, it seems like an ephemeral experience to have this love and safety which seems like forever but really feels so brittle at times, but the bond is still so strong, both light and eternal
