at a loss

You were strumming the guitar,

and singing in that mono tone of yours,

I really want to tell you,

that your singing sucks,

but don’t want to kill your interest either;

so I just turned to food,

and eat with one hand covering my ears.

 

For two years,

you have been the center of my life,

the inspiration of my advocacy,

the person whom I want to spend my life with,

but I am speechless,

I am dumbfounded

when I am with you.

 

Eating spaghetti with just one fork

for both of us was the closest thing

shared with you.

I long to say what I feel,

I long to say those words,

but I just can’t.

I can’t face rejection,

I can’t face the pain,

And the truth is out,

there can never be us,

there will never be us,

because I know

you love someone else,

and I am at a loss.

It is so hard to deal with when you know the one you love only has eyes for another. I could feel the pain when I read your words, but if you don't express your feelings, if you don't take that risk of rejection, how will they ever know what you feel about them. No one likes rejection, it sucks, sometimes you just have to take a risk. So you either stand on the sidelines and do nothing, or you take a calculated risk. Nice poetry, well written.

Wow! sapul ako sa tula mo, Ganyan kasi naramdaman ko dahil sa isang guy na ewan ko ba hanggang ngayon siya pa rin kahit hindi naman naging kami, malamang wala pa siyang clue na nafall in love na pala ako sa kanya.Kaya masakit talaga pag alam mong inlove ka sa isang tao may ibang mahal.Puwede ko bang itanong siya ba iyon guy na sobrang minahal mo?

hindi siya meron pa, at dun sa case mo alam ng guy na mahal mo siya kaso 2 bagay lang yan may mahal siyang iba o torpe lang siya

Hehe torpe siya pero hindi sa akin doon sa taong mahal niya.Hindi ko tanda kung may alam siya kasi ang kalukahan ko gumawa ng letter pero hindi naman ako umamin medyo ano lang, ahh basta.Ang hindi ko tanda kung naibigay ko o naitapon ko dahil nataranta.Hahaha nagkuwento na.😊😁

This kind of a loss can be most painful experience at human a life. I can feel you our it your heart and emotions it. It sounds quiet strong when I read it loud. All painful experience can make most impressive writing . But I think this happiest too. But we humans I mean not all humans . Some humans they love suffering so much. So they prefer painful experience. I hope your grieve in few days slowly go away. It will be not right away. But it will past. And there will lot of happiness waitin for you. Have good day and stay save.

Good morning sette... well now, what can I say about 'At a Loss'... well firstly, I think it started off fantastically and showed great potential and promise..... then for some reason, it seemed to inexplicably shift from that of a poem and became more of an emotional statement.....
