Who am I?

Who am I?

A Poem by Carissa Marie

Who am I?
I am a mystery waiting to unfold.
A story waiting to be heard.
A shadow that looms in the darkest corners
Of the most wretched place on earth.
Who am I?
I am just a wandering soul
Trying to fit in this world unknown.
Living still but all alone.
Without nothing to call my own.
Who am I?
I am a sad reminder of lost hopes and dreams.
Of disappointments and regrets.
A living example of what could have been
but have not.

Who am I, you ask?
I am nothing.

this is something i see myself sometimes... i see myself as nothing... but i always look at the brightside of nothing... make use of it to survive everyday and learn each day... for i am human, we are human... we keep on striving to become what we wanted to be... wonderful work!

Thank you! :)
A very good question in this poem. We will play many parts in a life. We must decide to be kind or raise cane? You are not nothing. One voice can change the world. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.
