I Remember Blue

I Remember Blue

A Poem by An owl on the moon
"

Before the colors of the world were tainted…

"

I remember blue

electric wilds of flight

before the colors of the world were tainted

breathing shades of blush

painting virulent days

days drifting

merging as raindrops into rivers

drops of simplicity

became oceans of complexity

complexity now

now in this moment

as you peer into my mind

sense in my soul who I am

make some sense of who I was

feel my heartbeat

as you rhythm read these letters

landscapes form

mindscapes of freshly fallen show

show a voice

a voice painted in recollections

mirrored reflections

and I still remember blue

somehow…

C.Froman,
raindrops into rivers, drops of simplicity..................... Oh that we never loose our awe in life's wonders! Or somehow find it. I love how you completed "I remember blue. "somehow..........."

So good to see you here again, Kathy! Wishing you such a happy week of Thanksgiving. :)
Great piece, friend. So sorry that I haven't gotten to check out your latest stuff in awhile. I've been busy with school. But, I really like this one. It provides very good imagery with the descriptive wording. Lovely job.

Colors tainted, I saw this most when living in southern Michigan, The white snow was peppered with particles falling from all of the factories. In the summers we had to fight to keep this off of the water in our swimming pool. I too love the blue...it reminds me of my daddy's eyes. Valentine
