a tango of two shot glasses in the moonlight (or dangerous liasons)

a tango of two shot glasses in the moonlight (or dangerous liasons)

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

a tango of two shot glasses in the moonlight (or dangerous liaisons)

splayed emphasis

heart's affliction

split affection

the mirror sees both ways

and i love both of you

when the reflection

feels just right.

Jacob,

This piece appears as though a good, long, hard look at thine inner self ...

The mirror challenges us. And sometimes, like Alice, we fall through the looking Glass. But love truly will bring you back when it is unconditional.

Did I just read a rhyme? Must have been my imagination. Reflections in mirrors are great to write about. They seem to look right through us into infinite introspection.

Sounds like the words of an affair.
One you don't want to give up.
The love you go back to.
The love you run to.
