a tango of two shot glasses in the moonlight (or dangerous liasons)

a tango of two shot glasses in the moonlight (or dangerous liasons)

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

a tango of two shot glasses in the moonlight (or dangerous liaisons)

splayed emphasis

heart's affliction

split affection

the mirror sees both ways

and i love both of you

when the reflection

feels just right.

Sounds like the words of an affair.
One you don't want to give up.
The love you go back to.
The love you run to.

Interesting things can take place between two shot glasses ... Or between a man and a woman peering through their shot glasses ... A hint of alcohol induced romance lingers here along with a Tequila scent of booze ...

Hmmm. the woman or another drink? This is a very interesting dilemma, almost like honey versus vinegar, perhaps that is too harsh...honey pots are choice, but oblivion offers escape. LOL! If, I have read this all wrong, please excuse me. Often, my reviews are too revealing, I guess that is the chance we all take in life; revealing our true-selves, fearlessly.

You got let me know what bar you hang about and keep a barstool next to, free for me. Image rich brevity at its best.
