Smile

Everything you say

Makes me uncontrollably smile.

You give me that feeling inside

That I haven’t known for quite a while.

 

Who knows where this will go

But I can’t wait to find out.

I could talk to you all day simply

Because I like seeing what you’re all about.

 

You’re words echo mine so closely

You must have found my answer key.

It all seems so perfect

A dream is the only thing this can be.

 

That being said, I don’t want to wake up

You’re the perfect companion, a cuddle bunny

The only thing that tops your personality

Is that smile, it would make the darkest day sunny

 

When we talk I can’t wait

To hear what you’ll say next.

I’m so captivated by your words

That I can’t believe I’m only reading a text.

 

This has been like a trip through a fun house

Around every corner are new surprises.

All those smiles that you’re responsible for

They are better than any amusement park prizes.

 

I’m not a greedy person

But I would gladly keep you all to myself.

You’re every guy’s dream

A trophy that doesn’t have to be kept on a shelf.

 

This should end how it started

Because it’s the point that’s most worthwhile.

Hopefully this can return the favor

Because someone like you deserves to smile.
