SheA Poem by john l smithwatching
She demurely upon a faded stump In a corner of the growing garden A little princess carved with care Dressed in mossy fabric wear
Longside cherries and wild berries And hedges built with laurel Where spring’s birds invest in nest And squirrels dart and dabble
Neath fragile palmated leaves That gently twist with spring’s light breeze Tenderly dabbled as those dancers are By shafts of warming sun
Carved by a master Set in place by loving hands Presiding over magic garden growth Where she quietly stands © 2019 john l smithReviews
