a precious natural room; sky my ceiling, woodland surrounding my fresh place of solitude.

 

       Cathedral Ceiling

 

 Cathedral ceiling, solid cream vault of sky,

 Isolated under your umbrella of beauty

 I feel welcomed.

 As flutes lending their sweet voice,

Woodland song birds echo and call

This place of outdoor freshness 

is really their own.

I am glad!

What prestige! What Joy!

To visit their home unencumbered,

For it is a simple room.

This room of peace invites my being to lift itself,

 to fly, to dream.

If this touches even one person I think that would be really nice. I write because it is satisfying and many times only when it comes naturally. Hope everyone continues to find inspiration and enjoyment in life. Let's all keep finding wonderful things to write about.

I appreciate your helpful ideas which run through your theme of newly expressed wonder above. This is something fresh about your writing which I truly find uplifting by the way. Ya know the idea of placing an image directly above a writing is not something I knew could be done as Iv'e not seen a way on the manage your writing' on this site. Your more experienced in this kind of stuff than me I think. I'll try to figure it out in time.

Yes nature is our setting of life. We as human beings cannot but feel at home within it loveliness for we fit for it and it for us. i am touched ..i am a nature boy at heart .. my picture invited by your poem is under the canopy of forest ..but in your opening lines (raised Catholic) i am centered in one of the grand Cathedrals found everywhere .. the "creamy vault" is instant in smooth, savory, and peace filled ..

Yea I hear you! Nature really is "church" for many. Why is that? We have a inner antenae which recieves God's voice.

as I read this I am instantly shifted to the many travels and outdoor adventures I have had, we need to be reminded of what's out there, just how precious it all is I think .... for when I am trekking through the Aussie Bush or the Himalaya's or elsewhere nature touches my soul and reminds me I am alive ...
