I have been hurt, but I train hard now so I wont be hurt again.

 

I have been loved, but my heart is hard so I wont be loved again.

 

I have been lost, but I know were I am going now so I wont be lost again.

 

I have friends but I am not kind.

 

I have wise words but I am a fool.

 

People see me as hard, but really I am softer then they know.

 

People say I am confident but really I am just bluffing.

 

People say I am big but I am so small.

 

I try to be strong but weakness often gets the better of me.

 

I try to be honest but lying hurts less.

 

I am sorry for this poem, you probably don't want to know.

i think you judge yourself a bit harshly...if you worry about the mentioned things you are aware of them and check yourself often...we are all a combination of the traits you write about
, we are human and therefore not perfect, be true to yourself and you will at least e comfortable...

Really enjoyed the message in this poem, it had such a genuine feel to it. It has an authentic touch to it. The only thing I picked up was "I have been loved, but my heart I hard so I wont be
loved again." I believe the second "I" should have been a "is". This was a great read Good Job
