While walking I saw a bluebird and was reminded How not to long ago their numbers were way down due to loss of habitat.

Bluebird sing your song

How you were almost gone

With the help of some who did long

To once again hear your song

You have now come back strong

So bluebird sing your melody

For it is beautiful music to me

This is just delightful as well as informative. The metre, rhythm, almost suggests a flitting, flying bird, intentional or not, it really adds to the movement of the poem.

What a delightful read this was. I could almost hear the song of the Bluebird myself which I am exactly sure is what were your intentions. So many of our beautiful creatures of our earth are deminishing in number. I am so glad that the Bluebird was saved. It has such a beautiful song bringing an uplift to the heart when it is heard.
