another world

as i sit here, peering through the small window ahead of me
i think of things.
being happy is where the other world leads.
the world with no darkness, no sadness, no fear
where love is around you, far and near.
flowers are blooming, filled with life.
mother nature blossoms from day to night.

in this world there is not hatred.
no anger upon you.
you feel loved, appreciated, by those who don't even know you.
there is a special flow of passion, and beauty you never knew.

but as you close that this sheet of glass, you step away.
in our world there is darkness always.
war, hate, punishment
we are all the same, but if we take the time to look out the window
you will see another world.
