the reason i left

the reason i left

A Poem by just take a breath

fragile fingers, i held your hand

slowly, i dropped them

hoping to god, you'll understand

why i did.

fragile steps, i walked away

temporarily leaving

wishing on stars, you'll be ok

in the end.

fragile tears, fell from my eyes

catching my breath

letting you live, make up your mind

that's why i left.

that's the reason i left.

Simple, but wrapped in meaningful thoughts. Beautifully penned, I understood each line, hence the fact I've been through something like this before. It hurts, but we need not be vain in return.
Wonderful job.

Such a beautiful poem packed with so much emotion. This is very well said and it flows perfectly.

A short and powerful poem. Sometime we know when to run or stay. The poem had a tone of sadness. You can break your own heart leaving someone with a goodbye and tears. I like the repetition in this poem. Made the poem stronger. Thank you for a excellent poem.
